PLA Rainbow is a unique blend of PLA (polylactide)-based materials. Each spool contains several smoothly changing colors. This makes the print made of filament from the PLA Rainbow product line unique.

The PLA Rainbow Silk filament from Rosa3D is a product for anyone who appreciates the unique nature of 3D prints. Each spool contains 7 colors: gold, green, turquoise, blue, purple, pink and orange. One spool with a net weight of 800g contains over 3 full color transition sequences – 240 g of filament contains one color cycle (7 colors). What’s more, thanks to the use of a unique PLA-based material blend, the PLA Rainbow Silk filament has a glossy finish that adds some visual softness to the prints. Depending on the selected printing parameters (print size and infill density), you can include as many colors in your model as you want.
PLA Rainbow Silk does not require printing in a closed chamber, high extrusion temperatures or reducing the printing speed, so they can be used even on the simplest devices. This filament is characterized by low shrinkage and no unpleasant odor. Prints from PLA Rainbow Silk are characterized by great interlayer adhesion and very good detail reproduction.

ATTENTION! The frequency and sequence of color transitions is fixed for a given production batch. Hence, a single spool may start at any point in the process, e.g. one spool may start gold and another spool green. Differences in hue are allowed.

Recommended printing parameters:

• extrusion temperature 185-225°C
  
• bed temperature: 40-60°C
  
• fan: 50-100%
  
• print speed: 60-80 mm/s
  

The filament can be printed on unheated tables. In case of problems with adhesion, we recommend the use of an adhesive.
