High efficiency

With up to 94% efficiency, these chargers generate up to four times less heat compared to the industry standard. When the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to 0.5W, around five to ten times better than the industry standard.

Adaptive 6-step charging algorithm: test - volume - absorption - refresh - float - storage

"The Blue Smart Charger features microprocessor-controlled 'adaptive' battery management. Theadaptive function will automatically optimise the charging process in relation to the battery's usage.

Storage mode: less maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use

Storage mode is activated when the battery has not been discharged within 24 hours. Instorage mode, the float voltage is reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for a 12 V battery) to reduce gassing and corrosion of positive plates. Once a week,the voltage shall be raised again to the absorption level to 'equalize' the battery. This feature prevents electrolyte and sulphate layering, which is the main cause of premature battery failure.

Also recharges lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries

NIGHT and LOW setting
