Extralink patchcord - a network cable essential for computer networks
LAN patchcord is a basic element of computer networks operating in the Ethernet standard. The Extralink patchcord is used to directly connect two active devices, such as a router or switch, so that data can be transmitted between them. It is also used to connect computers or VoIP phones to structured cabling and to make connections between patch panels in telecommunications cabinets. It works perfectly in both large and small computer networks. The shielded Extralink patchcord is highly flexible, which translates into easy installation and user comfort.
The shielded category 5e FTP patchcord by Extralink is terminated with shielded, gold-plated RJ45 plugs. It is made of a four-core twisted-pair cable made of pure copper, which makes it possible to power network devices using the PoE standard.
