Extralink Patchord LAN network cable - 3 metres
The Extralink Patchord LAN network cable is a copper network cable with a length of 3 metres, intended for indoor use. A LAN patchcord is a basic element of computer networks operating in the Ethernet standard. It is used to directly connect two active devices, such as a router or switch, so that data can be transmitted between them. It is also used to connect computers or VoIP phones to structured cabling and to make cross-connections between patch panels in telecommunications cabinets. It works perfectly in both large and small computer networks. The shielded Extralink patchcord is highly flexible, which translates into easy installation and comfortable use.
The shielded category 5e FTP patchcord by Extralink is terminated with shielded, gold-plated RJ45 plugs. It is made of a four-core twisted-pair cable made of pure copper, which makes it possible to power network devices using the PoE standard.
