DMX Unit is a communication module designed for data transmission in the DMX-512 standard . It has an isolated RS485 transceiver (CA-IS3092W) with protection up to 5 kVrms. It communicates with the M5Stack host via the Grove interface (UART) and operates in half-duplex mode. The module equipped with a 3-pin XLR socket makes it easy to connect DMX devices, and the integrated 120 Ω resistor prevents signal reflections. It is ideal for controlling stage, architectural and decorative lighting.
