The Gravity GR10-30 gesture sensor module, produced by DFRobot, is a great alternative to classic buttons or touch screens. It can recognize as many as 12 different gestures , including: up, down, left, right, forward, backward, clockwise and counterclockwise, continuous rotation in both directions, hovering in place and waving . The sensor's operating range is up to 30 cm . Communication with the microcontroller can take place via the UART or I2C interface, and the maximum baud rate is 9600.
