The PIR motion detector is a unit type module. It is compatible with the M5Stack series, which includes M5Atom, M5Stick and M5Stack Core modules. It is based on infrared technology: it detects infrared radiation emitted and reflected by human body or object. The measurement range of the PIR sensor is between 0 cm and 500 cm, with a detection angle of up to 100°. The M5Stack uses a Grove interface to communicate with the main unit of the M5Stack series. A Grove connection cable is included in the delivery.
