The micro:bit V2 is the powerful further development of the extremely successful single-board computer. The second generation of the BBC has been equipped with a built-in speaker and microphone. This upgrade allows the BBC micro:bit V2 to offer the same great features with the added possibility of being creative with sound and touch in the classroom.

New features in V2:

- Bluetooth 5.0 (previously 4.0)

- Power switch (keep power switch pressed)

- Microphones & LED display

- Onboard loudspeaker

- Touch-sensitive logo (Touch)

- Power LED indicator

- 200 mA for accessories (previously 90 mA)
