Extralink battery

The Extralink AGM 12V battery is a 12-volt battery with a capacity of 18 ampere hours. The battery is an energy storage device that can be discharged and recharged several times.

In AGM VLRA batteries (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) the electrolyte is absorbed in a glass mat separator.

More and more often they replace well-known acid or alkaline models due to their properties:

• no special maintenance or electrolyte topping up required
• the rooms where the batteries are installed do not need additional ventilation
• they perform well in buffer operation - their service life is up to 5 years
• less internal resistance and higher energy efficiency than traditional batteries
• Much lighter and smaller than acid batteries, with the same capacity
• more resistant to extreme temperatures, vibrations and shocks

VLRAs are batteries that normally do not emit gases and remain tight. This means they do not need to be installed in special ventilated rooms. They can be placed and used in any position. The reduction of electrolyte leakage outside the casing significantly reduces the corrosion process in the battery's operating environment, which has a positive impact on environmental protection.
