Single-mode patchcord with a length of 30 meters, cable diameter of the order of 3mm, terminated with SC/APC-SC/APC connectors is used to connect optical network equipment like switches and converters. They are also widely used in FTTH networks for connecting OLT and ONU/ONT devices.
