Materials such as Fiberlogy EASY PET-G or ESD PET-G are perfect examples. PET-G V0 expands the range of FDM/FFF printing materials in Fiberlogy?s portfolio. It is part of the FR (Flame Retardant) family filaments. It?s characterized by non-flammability in accordance with the UL94 V0 standard*. Both the filament and prints made from it are not susceptible to direct flame. On contact, PET-G V0 self-extinguishes in less than 10 seconds. That?s why it is ideal for the production of electronics housings or mechanical components of vehicles and machinery. Despite its properties, PET-G V0 is still as easy to print as traditional PET-G. It does not require a closed printer or a hardened nozzle. However, please remember that for the highest quality of prints, it is worth ensuring that the filament is properly dried before printing. PET-G V0, like other copolyesters, is highly hygroscopic, meaning that it absorbs moisture from the environment.
