The Huawei GICF card is a dual-port optical uplink card designed for Huawei's MA5600T, MA5680T and MA5683T series OLT terminals. It is a key component, enabling reliable backhaul (uplink) and cascade connections in fiber optic infrastructure. Its role is invaluable in ensuring smooth and efficient data flow between the access network and the operator's backbone, providing the foundation for stable broadband services. The kit includes 2 1.25GE SFP modules.
Application and System Compatibility
Designed for rapidly growing Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTx) and cable networks, the GICF card is ideal for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and installers building or expanding GPON infrastructures. With broad compatibility with Huawei's flagship OLT systems, such as the MA5683T and MA5608T, it guarantees easy integration into existing solutions, minimizing deployment complexity and ensuring seamless expansion.

The GICF card is distinguished by two 1.25GE (Gigabit Ethernet) SFP optical ports. The card comes with 2 pieces of single-mode SFP modules, operating at 1310nm wavelength with a range of up to 10 km. This ensures stable and high-speed connections in networks of different scales.
