MAKERA Carvera Air 4-Axis Module
The Carvera Air™ 4-axis module (harmonic drive version) significantly expands the milling machine’s capabilities, enabling the machining of cylindrical parts, double-sided projects, and complex 3D shapes. Thanks to simultaneous operation across four axes, you can create realistic 3D models while retaining complete freedom in material selection—from plastic and wood to metal. This solution allows you to take your design to the next level and realize details that were previously difficult or impossible to achieve. The module is designed exclusively for the MAKERA Carvera Air™ milling machine.
Versatility in every project
The use of the 4th axis allows you to machine significantly more complex shapes than in a standard 3-axis configuration. You can easily create rotary parts, details machined from both sides, and complex 3D models. The Carvera Air™ ensures simultaneous operation across four axes, which translates to greater precision and design freedom.
Precision thanks to a harmonic drive
The module is equipped with a harmonic drive, which ensures very high motion accuracy and minimal backlash. The device guarantees smooth and stable operation, which is crucial for projects requiring high repeatability and precise details.
Intelligent and simple configuration
Thanks to integration with Carver Air™ features such as quick tool change, auto-probing, and a home-point-based positioning system, configuring 4-axis operation is just as simple as standard 3-axis machining.
