Midland introduces a new, complete line of XT handheld radios operating on the publicly available PMR-446 standard. The offer includes 5 models and 2 carrying case sets enriched with additional accessories. The line includes both very attractively priced options like the Midland X10 and X30, and models with advanced functionality such as the Midland X50, X60, and X70. The Midland X50 and X70 Adventure versions are cases with 2 radios, headsets with microphones, chargers, and batteries. All radios have carefully designed housings, attractive packaging and, except for the entry-level X10, have USB charging. RANGE Maximum range depends on terrain conditions and is greatest in open, flat areas. Any obstacles such as trees, hills, and buildings will affect its limitation. Radio waves propagate particularly poorly inside complex metal structures and from inside a car. The average range in the city among buildings and obstacles does not exceed 1 or 2 km. In a sparsely built-up area with individual trees, the achievable range is 4-6 km. In open space without obstacles between antennas, such as in the mountains, connections at a distance of 10 km and more are possible.
