It’s energy-efficient and reliable. The high-quality optical sensor also has a 10-year lifespan. This ensures you will be alerted instantly if there is any smoke or fire in your home for the next 10 years. During this time, you won’t hear any annoying beeps in the middle of the night as you won’t have to change any batteries. Additionally, the alarm comes with a 10-year warranty. Smoke alarm obligation from 1 July 2022 From 1 July 2022 onwards, it is mandatory in the Netherlands to have a smoke alarm on every floor of the house and in any confined spaces that lead to escape routes. The Building Decree is amended and therefore it becomes a legal obligation to comply with it. This applies to homeowners and tenants as well as to existing and newly built homes. Simple installation This smoke alarm has a diameter of 7.6 cm / 3 inch and comes with a bottom plate, a 3M sticker, screws and plugs for easy and quick assembly.
