The antenna is a type of broadband dipole with electrical wave compensation, which allows for the transmission of the entire VHF-FM band – 20 MHz, with full suitability for receiving both stereo and mono broadcasts.
The antenna's radiation pattern is omnidirectional. Mechanically, the antenna is adapted for indoor or outdoor use – it has full necessary anti-corrosion protection.
Small dimensions – diameter 470 mm compared to a straight dipole – lambda/2L = 1500mm make it extremely convenient for the user.
Compared to rod antennas typically used in radio receivers, approximately 30 cm in length, this antenna shows a gain of +6 dB. The antenna can be used with horizontal or vertical polarization depending on the current operation of the broadcasting station in a given area.
