The Rutland 914i has a power output well beyond its size and, thanks to its integrated MPPT technology, rivals that of larger wind generators. MPPT technology continuously combines the wind generator's rotational speed with optimum efficiency to deliver more amp-hours to the battery, and a by-product of this optimised efficiency is quiet operation!The Rutland 914i wind generator is sold without a charge controller. The HRSI and HRDI hybrid charge controllers are suitable for the Rutland 914i wind generator. A solar panel up to 160W can be connected directly.

This wind generator uses lightweight but robust high density nylon reinforced with UV resistant glass fibre. The metal parts are made of marine grade aluminium and stainless steel. The bearings are sealed, with good protection against the ingress of moisture, which ensures a long life of the wind generator. The generator is made in the UK.
